Sir Isaac Chuks (Chairman/CEO)
An experienced engineer, Sir Isaac Chuks was born on February 12, 1948. He began his engineering career as an Engineer (Roads) in the then Northern Nigeria Ministry of Works. A pioneer Chairman/Managing Director of Chuks International (W/A) Company Limited, his leadership of the company attracted multiple contracts in the areas of bridges, roads, hotels, water and irrigation and refinery construction.
Because of his leadership and management acumen, Sir Isaac Chuks in 1979 was appointed chairman and CEO of Ocean Oil and Gas Company Limited, Taiwan. This was followed in 1984 by his appointment as Vice Chairman of Fung Tai Engineering Company in Seoul and Taiwan. It was nature that Sir Isaac Chuks would become Chairman and CEO of Fung Tai Engineering Company Limited when it was incorporated in Nigeria in 1992. His continued leadership has been exemplary and accorded in no small measure in attaining the company’s present enviable position.

Isaac Young Chuks(Executive Director Operations)
Is an alumnus of the University of Bedfordshire faculty of Business Administration where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts(Hons) and moved on to attain a Masters in International Business at Westminster University. He is the Chairman Diamond Whale Ltd, and an Executive Director (Operations) of FungTai Engineering Company Ltd.
Subsequent to his extensive educational background in the United Kingdom, Mr Isaac Young Chuks has since gone ahead to display his grounded principles of business operations applications for several companies. Before assuming position at FungTai Engineering Ltd, Mr Chuks worked as the Business Financial Analyst at Westminster Wholesale Merchandisers, a global operator in hardware appliances, where he was involved in the configuration of their current derivative strategic system. He has also fine-tuned other business operations where he had privileges of association.
His project management expertise, customer satisfaction base and optimum resource utilization technique has been highly commended by Imperial Estate (UK), Anchor Trust (UK) and Eye Telecom service providers who benefited from his direct association. His tested pedigree continues to add value to our seasoned team.
Mr Overlington E. Chuks (Executive Director Research & Development)
Is the Executive Director research and development having previously served as a non-active listed member of the board of directors until August 2008. Following his education in the United Kingdom Mr Overlington E. Chuks went on to hold various positions in specialists firms.
Before joining Fung Tai Engineering Co. Ltd, he was the Chief sales executive at Lyonsdown publishing, a dynamic breed of publishers involved in production and distribution of specialists interest reports across a diverse range. Prior to that, he worked with the management team at Tiscali, a British based telecommunications provider with focus on design distribution and interpretation of competitive strategy systems.
He was made an honorary member of the coordinated company in 2008. A specialist NGO’s designed for rural development within West Africa. In addition, he manages Lington Premier Solutions, a subsidiary of Fung Tai Engineering Co. Ltd a leading project development company heavily involved in Engineering research and development.
Mr. Overlington E. Chuks holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Law from Kingston university in United Kingdom and a Master of Art in International Business Management from Thames Valley University, United Kingdom. A member of the Chartered Management Institute in United Kingdom.
Goodluck Chinaka(General Manager)
Is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan faculty of Communication Arts where he obtained a Bachelor in Education with honors and proceeded to obtain a Masters in Management and Planning. Prior to joining FungTai Engineering he served in the Buhari regime in the Ministry of Internal Affairs liaison between diplomats and resident representatives. He is the longest serving staff in FungTai with over 20years of commitment and loyalty to the growth of FungTai Engineering. He is currently the General Manager FungTai Engineering and has a quantifiable amount of experience in corporate image development in the engineering sector and envoy relations. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Chartered Institute of Administrators (CIA) and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
Ben O. Egbuniwe (Financial Controller)
Is the Financial Controller in charge of FungTai Financial affairs with oversight responsibility for both Administration and Management issues. He has achieved outstanding educational prowess; HND. in Accountancy from the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu, Post graduate diploma in Accounting from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a Master of Business Administration, (MBA) in Banking and Finance also from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Prior to his joining FungTai Engineering Co. Ltd, Ben worked with Anambra Motor Manufacturing Co. Ltd (Associated with DaimlerChrysler AG) as the Deputy Gen Manager/ Head of Finance Division where he restructured the work process to eliminate avoidable bureaucracy and no value added jobs. Furthermore, he renegotiated and restructured the borrowing terms and structure of financial facilities of ANAMCO with commercial banks. He also worked as the Chief Financial Officer, at the Star Paper Mill Limited, Aba respectively. He has spent over twenty five (25) years in the financial sector and has a special focus on turnaround management schemes. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate member Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI).
Simon Egodigwe (Planning & Logistics Manager)
Simon is the planning & logistics manager and also serves as the technical assistant to the chairman/CEO of Fungtai engineering co. Ltd. He obtained his B.Sc in Business management and M.Sc in international project management in Nigeria and United Kingdom respectively. He has also worked in South Africa and the UK where he acquired international exposure and experience in project management.
Simon’s wealth of experience over the years has necessitated his ability to plan, coordinate, and control construction, Mechanical and Electrical (EPC) contracts both in Nigeria and overseas.
